meet Pia Hallstrom

Swedish-born designer Pia Hallström brings a refined Scandinavian sensibility to the world of fine jewellery. Trained at Parsons School of Design in New York, she began her career in fashion - designing for Ralph Lauren before becoming Head of Design at Burberry London, where she helped redefine the brand’s international luxury identity.
Today, Pia channels her decades of design experience into Pia Hallström Fine Jewellery, a collection of modern heirlooms handcrafted in London. Each piece embodies her signature balance of Scandinavian minimalism and timeless elegance, created to be worn effortlessly from day to night, season after season.
A DGA-certified gemologist, Pia works exclusively with responsibly sourced materials and trusted ateliers, ensuring each jewel reflects both craftsmanship and conscience. Her work often carries a deeper purpose - most notably through her philanthropic collaborations with the World Childhood Foundation, including the Hope Earrings and Nordic Star Earrings, designed to support children’s rights and empowerment.
“A beautiful piece of jewellery transcends trends and becomes part of your story.”
Rooted in Scandinavian clarity, shaped by New York creativity, and refined through London craftsmanship, Pia Hallström’s world is one where luxury meets purpose - where every jewel tells a story of love, strength, and legacy.
‘My goal is for my jewellery to naturally enhance the beauty of the wearer without stealing attention away from her. I’ve designed this collection to be worn every day, with everything.’
For SS25, Pia has introduced a collection that is distinctive, bold, and undone with a 70’s inspired vibe. The collection consists of industrial chains, large coloured sapphires, gemstones such as emeralds and rubies, and rare cut diamonds.
For Pia, inspiration comes from her life, mainly her travels around the world. A vintage belt from a Moroccan souk bearing a triangular stud motif formed the basis of the brand's now iconic pyramid bracelet. A visit to a Zaha Hadid exhibition in Venice inspired the Baguette necklace. Meanwhile, her summers in the South of France sent Pia photographing nature and exploring its wildlife, resulting in the animal collection.
‘I love designing and I love helping people. Making them happy with pretty things is the best way I know how.’
